Create a new channel
With a Google Account, you can watch
and subscribe to videos, as well as subscribe to channels. However, without a
YouTube channel, you do not have a public presence on YouTube. Even if you have
a Google account, you need to create a YouTube channel to upload videos,
comments, or create playlists. You can use your computer or YouTube mobile site
to create a new channel.
Create a personal channel
Follow these instructions to create
a channel that only you can manage with your Google account.
1. Log in to YouTube on your
computer or mobile site.
2. Try any action that requires a
channel, such as uploading a video, leaving a comment, or
creating a playlist.
3. If you do not already have the channel, you will see an invitation to create a channel.
4. Verify the data (with the name
and Google account) and confirm the creation of a new
channel.
